About Paralegal Schools

These programs are designed to focuses on legal procedures, skills, and concepts that are widely used in a variety of different legal environments. A Paralegal, sometimes called a Legal Assistant, is supervised by an attorney. Graduates will open up new job opportunities or job advancement possibilities in legal environments such as private law firms, corporate law, or even local, state and federal law departments. They might find themselves helping attorneys in the courtroom, assisting with litigation prep, supervising and drafting documents, researching legal precedents, interviewing clients and witnesses. They will also provide trial assistance, preparation of real estate documents, contract supervision, and probate. Paralegals are now trained to help with most of the difficult tasks that used to be handled solely by attorneys. With this greater responsibly comes greater opportunity.
